About Woodland Heights

Woodland Heights history and mission

Our History & Mission

We’re smaller, cozier, and offer more personal privacy. Residents love the casual elegance of this country lodge from its spacious apartments, great dining, and relaxed atmosphere to the beautiful walking paths and raised gardens. We’re located minutes away from downtown Tigard, King City, and Lake Oswego and all of the many medical and entertainment resources that they offer.

Open since the spring of 2001, Woodland Heights is a local, independently owned, senior community with a singular goal: to care for seniors. Using a combination of experience, compassion, and continual training, our staff is fully dedicated to our residents’ quality of life.

Nestled in the hills between Hall Boulevard and Highway 99-W, Woodland Heights offers a unique, quiet charm in the middle of beautiful Tigard, Oregon. With 48 apartments, our residents are more than just an apartment number; they are part of a community.

Woodland Heights and its staff have earned the trust of medical professionals, as well as many families in the Tigard, Tualatin, and Lake Oswego communities.

It is the goal of Woodland Heights to provide you with the services you want and need in a manner that supports your lifestyle and preferences. Woodland Heights RN will review changes and recommendations of Health-Related Services and will update resident service plan as appropriate. At move-in, residents sign a medical release of information allowing Woodland Heights to facilitate the above care.

Meet The Team

Katie, Administrator

Katie Webb

Hi, my name is Katie and I have been working in Senior Living for the past 27 years!

I have worked in all departments of Assisted Living communities and this is where my heart belongs.

I hold a Residential Care Facility Administrator License and continue my education each year to stay current on all the new regulations.

My favorite part of being here at Woodland Heights is learning from our residents and hearing all their life stories.

When I am at home, I enjoy spending time with my Goldendoodle, Archie and my Cat, Agatha.

I do volunteer work with some support groups in Portland and enjoy helping people.

I have a son who currently lives in France and enjoy visiting him when I can (although I have only been once so far)!

Community Relations Director

My name is Rayne, like “Rain.” I am 23 years old and have worked at Woodland Heights for three years now.

I started as a caregiver, moved to Medication Aide, then to assistant Resident Care coordinator, and now am the Community Relations Director here at Woodland Heights.

My favorite thing about Woodland Heights is that it feels like my family and not my job. I know the residents and their needs very well.

I will be the first face you see when you arrive at Woodland Heights.

I manage all move-ins and tours, as well as all social media.

I help make sure families are set up with all things to be able to move in seamlessly.

I have a lizard named Lilith, a kitty named Addy, and my puppy named Phoenix. When I am not working, I love to forage and learn about Naturopathy.

Nancy, BSN RN

I am Nancy and I began my career as an LPN in 1993.

I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from the University of New Mexico College of Nursing.

I bring 30 years of clinical and case management experience to Woodland Heights.

A lifelong learner, I am currently pursuing a certification in gerontological nursing through a partnership with the Oregon Health Authority and the University of Nebraska.

Activities Director

Hello, my name is Jamie and I am the Life Enrichment Director, or as others know it the Activities Director, here at Woodland Heights.

I started my career in therapy-based activities three years ago, providing one-on-one therapy for children diagnosed with Autism. I was offered the opportunity to become an Activities Director at another facility one year ago and fell in love with senior care. I brought my knowledge of providing therapy while having fun to my new role and created a custom activities program for that facility that is being used to this day. I came to Woodland Heights to create a new activities program catered to the needs and likes of the residents to provide a fun and rich environment. The Woodland Heights community is so unique and full of life and feels like a large family. I look forward to coming in and seeing the residents and their family members everyday.

When I am not at work, I spend my free time at home with my fiancé and our 3 fur children. I have 1 cat Simone and 2 dogs: 6-year-old Luna the Minchi (Miniature Pinscher Chihuahua mix) and 1-year-old Powder the Pitsky (Pitbull Husky mix). My fiancé and I are due to get married next year on Mt Hood and are very excited about it. We both love going hiking, seeing shows, and attending all of the fun unique things Portland has to offer.
