About the Owners Local Owners, Jerry and Charee Crowopened Woodland Heights Assisted Living Residence in 2001, after retuning from living in Thailand for two years. When asked why they wanted to open a small, 48 apartment community they replied, “We wanted to open a smaller community because we can get to know people; it’s more family-like and homey. Yet, it is still large enough to have a diversity of residents.” Both Jerry and Charee are graduates of Lewis and Clark College. They are active owners and have a vested interest in their staff and residents. Charee’s passion for nature and flowers is reflected in the outside landscaping and inside artwork.
